A ticket for the Panathenaic Stadium can only be purchased at the ticket office of the Panathenaic Stadium.

Once a ticket has been purchased, it cannot be canceled or refunded.

Tickets are single use and only valid for the day on which they were issued. From the moment you exit the Stadium, the ticket becomes invalid.

Yes, you can enter and move around the Stadium with a baby carriage.

Pets are not allowed in the Stadium and Museum. Only guide dogs accompanying visually impaired persons are admitted.

Entry with luggage is permitted (luggage may be stored in the entrance areas except for the personal belongings of the visitor for security reasons).

No, the Panathenaic Stadium does not have a WiFi service for visitors.

You can jog at the Stadium every day from 07:30-09:00 am – except on days when the Stadium is reserved for a major event (Concert, Marathon Finish etc.).

In addition to the hours of (07:30-09:00 a.m.) when you can Jog in the Stadium, you can run in the Stadium track at your own risk and in a way that will not disturb other visitors. Any other sporting activity within the Stadium that is not part of an organized program that has been approved in advance by the Stadium officials is prohibited.

Amateur photography and filming are allowed in all areas of the Stadium. The publication of material in print and electronic media is only permitted for professional photographers only after the approval of the Stadium. Any publication of material for the purpose of commercial exploitation is prohibited. The use of any Olympic symbols or anything that refers to them is also prohibited.

Any change or emergency event that affects the regular operating hours of the Stadium is announced on the official website of the Panathenaic Stadium.

Booking a group visit is scheduled by submitting an online request to info@panathenaicstadium.gr with a simultaneous declaration of the preferred language of the audio tour.  Tickets can only be purchased on the day of the visit.

There is no limit to the group booking in case of non-use of the audio tour.

In case of using the audio tour and in proportion to  the general number of visitors at that time, 100 persons/50 minutes can be served.

The Track and Field and the Gallery of the Panathenaic Stadium are fully accessible for people with mobility difficulties. The Museum is only accessible by stairs and has no lift.

The reservation and exclusive use of the Panathenaic Stadium and the other spaces (the square in front of it) for a large private event (Concert, etc.) is possible under strict terms and conditions. It is necessary to submit a request with a detailed description of the planned event by email to info@hoc.gr or info@panathenaicstadium.gr.

REQUIRED:

1. Submission of the request and approval by the HELLENIC OLYMPIC COMMISSION
2. Submission of the request and approval by the CENTRAL COUNCIL OF MODERN MONUMENTS (KΣNM) of the MINISTRY OF CULTURE as the Panathenaic Stadium and the square in front of it are Archaeological sites.
3. Signing of the relevant Agreement

It is necessary to submit a written request with a detailed description of the planned activity (date, time, number of participants, etc.) by e-mail to info@hoc.gr or info@panathenaicstadium.gr.

If the request is approved, the cost and conditions of use of the Area will be communicated.

NOTE:

• EXCLUSIVE USE is only for the Area of the Track and Field for which approval has been given.
• Only water consumption IS PERMITTED.
• NOT INCLUDING the cost of the use of the WCs of the Stadium.

The stadium does not have sports equipment, trainers and a doctor for the realization of organized sports activities. The responsibility for the aforementioned is borne by the company or individual who organizes the specific activity.

Please note that the presence of a doctor during the activity is obligatory.
